I put off watching this for a while, because of two reasons
1. I refused to watch a Carpenter horror flick which doesn’t have any animatronics in it
2. I have never heard anything good about it
But even at his worst, Carpenter is bound to be better than most of the horror directors we have these days… right?
Yes, this movie a good deal better than its reputation. In no way comparable to Carpenters other work, but a good movie nontheless. The storie wasn’t all that great, and the ending was “meh”, but the direction was great, and he nailed the atmosphere. And that’s all you need to stand out from the pile of shit that is the horror genre right now, really.
Hi, my name is Dino, and I spend way too much time/money on keeping myself entertained. Check out the links for more information on that. Welcome to my blog. ---------------------------------------------------------
